PTI February Blog Hop - Happy Mother's Day

Good morning!  Today is the Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop The inspiration for this month's hop is Spring.  I don't know about you but I'm ready for spring, this winter has been a long snowy one and the thought of seeing something green and growing sound wonderful.
Although roses aren't necessarily the first spring flowers that pop to mind, I decided to use them anyway to create a floral Mother's Day card. I used the new Papertrey Ink stamp set Garden Grace with the coordinating dies.  For my layout I used the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #116.
Thanks for stopping by and enjoy the hop!

SSSC#208 - Hello Sweet Friend

Hi there!  It's Sunday and time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  Karen has another fun sketch for all of us to create with and we hope you'll take the time to play along.
After seeing this week's sketch with the tiled panels, I decided to use the PTI stamp set Heart-2-Heart #4 with the cute telephones to create a thinking of you card.

SSSC#207 - Best Wishes

Hello!  I'm late with my Sweet Sunday Sketch post and card, but better late than never.  I always seem to think I have more time than I do to get my card done.  For this week's sketch I created a simple square birthday card using the PTI stamp sets Ruby Reprise and Boutique Borders: Birthday.

Is it just me or is winter lasting forever this year, well at least here in Michigan it feels that way.  3-6 more inches tonight.  How many more days until spring?

SSSC#206 - Rosie Posie Birthday

Good morning!  It's time for this week's Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge.  Karen has another fun sketch for all of us to create with and we hope you'll play alone.
For my card I used the PTI stamp set Rosie Posie along with the coordinating dies and the Rustic Wreath die as my circle.  I decided to keep my card clean and simple with a white panel as my background and stamped the horizontal layer from the sketch.  I added my sentiment, die-cut pieces and a few embellishments to finish it off.

It's amazing how a bad camera can make the cards you worked on and created look awful.  I've been taking pictures with my iPhone (which I need to upgrade) and every picture has wavy lines in it. And after loosing my Photoshop program on my computer I've been trying other editing programs but can't seem to find one that works really well for me.
