Doodle This

OK so I think I need/have to have this stamp set. I borrowed the Doodle This stamp set from my good friend Dawn so that I could play thinking that I didn't really care for this set and didn't need it but could use some samples showing how to use it, yeah right!
I'm really liking this color combo with the Pomegranate, Not Quite Navy and So Saffron and its hard to see but I used clear circle rhinestones in the centers of the flowers and lots of dazzling diamonds.

Supplies: Doodle This and Happy Everything stamp sets, ticket corner punch, sharp scissors, aqua brush, circle rhinestone fasteners, dazzling diamonds. Colors: Purely Pomegranate, Not Quite Navy, So Saffron Old Olive and Whisper White.

Enjoy your day!

Gabrielle's Quilt

This is a shot of my daughter Gabrielle holding the quilt she made from her sewing class a Jo Ann's craft store. She loves sewing and fabrics and for the past three years or more has said that she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. Her quilt turned out beautiful, she was so proud of her self, she picked out all of the fabric, and arranged all of the squares and did all of the sewing. The one thing I know she wont be doing anytime soon is using a rotary cutter to cut fabric. The second day of her quilting class she cut her thumb and had to have stitches and a shot, not fun. Shes a real trooper though she was more worried about having enough time to finish her quilt than getting stitches. That's my girl!

Be Happy Clip Board

The ladies in my stamp club group and I did a 3-D swap and this was what I made. This was my first time at doing a clip board, I was pretty happy with how it turned out. The notes section is letter sized envelopes folded in half and then stapled, then I cut off the ends and added the tabs so you could use the pockets for notes. I need to add ribbons to the top clip part of it just to add a little more to it. I would like to try decorating one of the new Stampin' Up smaller sized clip boards and use it for pictures, that would be fun!
Supplies: Clip board, Sticky Strip Tape, Cork, Post it, Big Blooms stamp set, Polka Dots & Paisley, Circle of Friendship, Office Accoutrement, Round Tab punch, Circle Punch, Buttons, Fasteners, Stapler, Ribbon, Circle metal tag. Colors: Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla, Regal Rose, Apricot Appeal, Chocolate Chip.
Thanks for looking!

Current Craft Room

This is my current craft room which I share with my daughter. Its a mess right now because of all the construction. It's a good size room with a walk in closet for all of our stuff and a cutting table. I wont show the other side of the room (my daughters table) because its loaded with stuff, and if you look hard you can see the playpen in the corner of the pictures and the excersauser is in there to. My husband calls this room my hide out, its my little place to go and create.

New Craft Room - Under Construction

Well this is my new craft room which is under construction, I'm giving up my old craft room for my oldest son so that he can have it for his bedroom. We have a three bedroom ranch home and now need another bedroom for our youngest son. I have a 12 year old son, a 10 year old daughter and a 8 month old son. Yes I know what your thinking, holy cow that's like starting all over again, but our youngest is a total blessing and I cant imagine life without him, it felt like someone was missing.
Anyway this space will be a little smaller but it will force me to be more organized (hopefully).

Sizzix Prima Flower

Don't you love it when you feel like your the first one at the store to see something new. I was at JoAnn's yesterday and I was strolling through the scrapbooking area when I spotted a stock boy opening up some boxes of New Sizzix stuff, so of course I had to help him! Yes I had to rip open every box that he had and then ask him if there was any more in back, I'm sure he thought I was crazy, but that's OK he doesn't understand the sickness that I have. Any way they had these new dies that cut out all kinds of flowers and other things, but I thought this one was pretty. The dies run about $19.99 and less but a good shopper has her coupons. The bummer part about this is that the dies are really meant to be used with the Big Shot Machine, but of course I'm not buying another machine I already have the old Sizzix the Cuttlebug and the Cricut, any more and I could open up a machine shop. So I bought this one die and tried it on my Cuttlebug and it worked but it really left an impression on the clear cutting board. These dies are too wide to use on the old Sizzix machine and that's so they can get you to buy the new one.

Supplies:Sizzix Die, Green Galore, Gable Green, Happy Everything, Polka Dot BG, Linen BG, Paisley BG, Ticket corner punch, Ribbon, Fastener

Bundled in Love Baby Card

This is one of the cards I'll be doing for my next Stamp Camp, I just love the hippo from this set!

All Supplies are Stampin' Up: Bundled in Love, See you Around Jumbo Wheel, Warm Words, Barely Banana, Bordering Blue, Sage Shadow (got to love that color wheel). The ribbon in the picture looks like it doesn't match for some reason, but I think its just the picture.

Cards for my Sassy Stampers

These cards are for a few of my stamping friends, I know that they understand how priceless stamping and friendships are.

Connor's Name Frame

I made this name frame for my son's nursery, the little frogs from the stamp set Unfroggettable from Stampin' Up match his bed set perfectly.
